WISCONSIN FRIENDS EXPLORE CHALLENGE

Increase healthy habits in fun challenging ways.

The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks and Wisconsin Friends Explore challenge visitors to explore Wisconsin state park properties in new and/or fun ways, increase healthy habits, and connect with family and friends.

  • The Wisconsin Friends Explore Challenge will begin on Spring Equinox-March 20, 2021, and end on the Fall equinox on September 22, 2021.

  • There are 22 Challenges in 11 categories including hiking, camping, photography, community service at parks, paddle sports, and many others.

  • Complete at least one challenge per family unit to earn a social network badge.

  • Any number of challenges can be completed within the challenge time.

  • Each time a challenge is completed and documented in either a downloadable logbook or the online logbook, the household name is entered into a final drawing for prizes —one entry per household not per person. Only one prize will be awarded per family.

  • All challenges must take place on a Wisconsin State Park System property—which includes state parks, forests, trails,recreation areas, state wildlife areas, etc.

  • There is no fee to enter the challenge. A state park vehicle admission sticker and/or trail pass is required.

Logging in isn't required. But it does make our data-keeping so much easier. The Friends Explore Wisconsin - Challenge committee hopes you decide to utilize the online challenge signup and electronic logbook below. We acknowledge a bit of repetition using the electronic logbook, but it's only a few questions. Chances are, the browser "remembers" your answers.

If you used a logbook for keeping track of the completed challenges:

  1. Sign the back of the logbook

  2. Either take a photo of the completed logbook and of the signature or a copy and email it to rpaske@fwsp.org

or

  1. Mail a hard - copy to the following address within one week after the contest ends.
