A number of events are planned for the new year at Lapham Peak, including our annual First Day Hike on January 1st, our Wednesday Night Ski Series for Adults and Juniors (K-12th grade), the Lapham Loppet Ski Race, and our very popular Candle Light Hike & Ski at the end of January.
Entry at Lapham Peak will be free on January first. The Ice Age Trail Alliance will be leading 2 free hikes at 11am in the Park, an easier one will start and end at Homestead Hollow (using the paved Plantation Plath), and a longer through the woods hike will start and end at the Tower Parking Lot.

We began making snow for the manmade snow loops (Dec 6th!!) and plan to have great snow trails for cross-country skiing for approximately 90 days again this year. Watch the Trails Condition page for updates!

Fat bike, snowshoe, and ski rentals will again be available at the Park, see our rental page for more information about our concessions vendor who provides this service.
