DESCRIPTION:\n\n	Saturday May 2 – 1 – 3 PM\nWhen we are enjoying outdoor adventures, it’s important to know how to take care of ourselves as well as nature. The 7 Principles of Leave No Trace are a framework that both adults and kids can learn in order to help us stay safe and minimize our impact on the outdoors whether we are hiking, camping, playing in a park or in our own backyards.\nDuring the “Leave No Trace: A Trail Adventure for Girls” event we will practice hands-on activities to learn the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace, and take a one mile stewardship hike in Lapham Peak. This program will help you earn your Trail Adventure Badge.\nThere are new activities and hiking routes for 2026, so even if you participated in this event last year, there is more to learn!\nNote:  This is a Girl Scouts only program. A Wisconsin State Park pass is required. Girls must be accompanied by a troop leader or other responsible adult and the troop must maintain the adult/girl ratio required by the Girl Scouts organization. Troop leaders are FREE.
