Join Lapham Peak Board Member and Treasurer, Karl Timm,  and Master Naturalist, Rob Suhr, as they share what they have learned through Bluebird Monitoring at Lapham Peak.\nWhat You’ll Learn:\n\n\nThe World of the Eastern Bluebird: Learn to identify adult bluebirds and their young, and discover the unique ways they build their nests.\n\n\nA Peek Inside the Box: See photos of the inside of Bluebird boxes while they are in use-and learn why their design and placement are critical for protecting hatchlings.\n\n\nThe Life of a Monitor: Experience a “day in the life” of a volunteer. We’ll walk through the weekly rhythm of checking boxes, gathering statistics, and maintaining the 1.5-mile trail.\n\n\nConservation in Action: See how the data collected at Lapham Peak contributes to the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin (BRAW) to help ensure these beautiful birds remain a staple of our landscape.\n\n\nWhether you are a seasoned birder or just looking for a meaningful way to spend time in nature, this program will give you all the details on how you can help make a difference.\n\nIf you’re interested in attending, please sign up for the event.\nCost of the event is $8 per person. Advanced registration is required. All About Bluebird Monitoring program will only run with a minimum of 4 tickets sold. Be sure to grab your spot and invite a friend! If we don’t reach the minimum all guests will be notified and receive a full refund.
