SUMMARY:Autumn Forest Walk and Tea – September 12
DESCRIPTION:\n\nStep into the beauty of autumn and experience the restorative power of nature during a guided forest therapy walk. Led by a certified guide, this slow and mindful experience invites you to engage with your senses, reconnect with your body and the land. Along the way, you’ll be offered gentle invitations to practice the art of “noticing”, have opportunities for shared reflections, and will enjoy thoughtfully prepared tea.\nForest therapy is an internationally practiced, evidence-informed wellness approach that encourages slowing down and fostering a meaningful relationship with nature. Rather than hiking for distance or exercise, participants are invited to experience the forest with curiosity, awareness, and intention.\nResearch practices such as this may:\n\nReduce stress and support healthy cortisol levels\nImprove mood and emotional well-being\nImprove focus and attention\nSupport immune function\nFoster a greater sense of calm, connection, and restoration\n\nWhether you’re seeking a moment of peace, a chance to recharge, or simply an opportunity to experience Wisconsin’s fall landscape in a new way, we hope you will join us!\nAbout the Guide: Megan Bollen is a certified Forest Therapy Guide (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy) and brings over a decade of experience guiding groups in the outdoors. She is also trained in Wilderness First Aid through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).\nHer work blends evidence-informed wellness practices and a deep belief that meaningful time in nature can support individual and community well-being. She guides experiences throughout southeastern Wisconsin and beyond. Learn more at www.juniper-trails.com.\nIf you’re interested in attending, please sign up for the event.\nCost of the event is $25 per person. Advanced registration is required. Our Autum Forest Walk & Tea program will only run with a minimum of 4 tickets sold. Be sure to grab your spot and invite a friend! If we don’t reach the minimum all guests will be notified and receive a full refund. If the minimum is not met, the program will be cancelled on or before September 5, 2026.\n\n
