Evergreen Shelter is located at the lower parking lot area. It has electric heat, indoor bathrooms, water and a wood stove. The building has six tables, 24 sturdy plastic chairs, a small wood burning stove and electricity. It can be reserved during the nonski season. Reserve the shelter by calling the Wisconsin State Park Reservation System at 1-888-947-2757 or the website.

There is also a covered picnic area with a large grill available to the east of the Evergreen shelter, as well as a fire pit with firewood (available for a donation). The open air covered picnic shelter may also be reserved.
