The Hausmann Nature Center (HNC) provides Nature Center education programs and informational displays and is open multiple weekends throughout the spring, summer and fall months.
On the weekends that the Nature Center is open to the public, we will have:
- Nature Center informational Exhibits and
- Children's Interactive Area
- Scheduled programs
Our 2025 schedule for the Nature Center to be open:
- April - 19, 20, 26, 27
- May – 17, 18, 24, 25, 26
- June – 7, 8, 21, 22
- July – 12, 13, 19, 20
- August – 2, 3, 9, 10, 30, 31
- September – 1, 6, 7, 13, 14
- October – 4, 5, 18, 19

Hausmann Nature Center volunteer opportunities available two weekends a month from April through the end of October.
Volunteer as little or as much as you like...one shift or many! Shifts are available morning or afternoon from 10:00 am-1:00 pm and 1:00-4:00 pm, Saturdays & Sundays.
