Lapham Peak

The Lapham Peak Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, or "Lapham Peak State Park" is located in Delafield, Wisconsin in the heart of the Lake Country, Wisconsin area. It is located one mile south of I-94 (exit 285), 25 miles west of Milwaukee and 45 miles east of Madison, Wisconsin.

The park, named after Increase Lapham, has a focal point of a 45 foot observation tower atop the highest point in Waukesha County.  The park's glaciated topography provides excellent hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing on lighted trails.  An abundance of wildlife and wildflowers, and a butterfly garden are present in the park.  To find out more information on hiking and skiing click on Trails Hike/Bike/Run and Trails/Skiing.

The Park also features SummerStage, an outdoor stage situated in a natural amphitheater off the lighted ski trail about 300 yards from the Evergreen Parking lot.  For more information, please go to  www.SummerStageofDelafield.org
