Geocaching Event – September 13
Saturday September 13th - 12:00PM to 3:00 PM
Join Geocachers “Fondue4Two” at a Community Event on Saturday September 13. A table display will showcase typical geocaching containers while experienced cachers will be available to share information on the international hobby. The display will be available between 12pm - 3pm. The event will also include a “GEOCACHING 101” presentation about geocaching in the nature center at 1pm.
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game where participants use GPS devices (including your smart phone) to find hidden containers, called geocaches, at specific locations marked by coordinates. It's a fun way to explore new places, discover hidden gems, and enjoy the outdoors while engaging with a global community of geocachers.
New geocaches have been placed not far from the nature center so you will be able to start your geocaching adventure immediately.
