Through the Looking Glass: Why Birds Hit Windows and How to Stop It – June 13
Birds see the world differently, and often, that beautiful reflection of the sky is a deadly illusion. Every year, millions of birds are lost to window collisions—but you can help change the narrative. Join WI Master Naturalist and Window Collisions Bird Ambassador Samantha Humes for an eye-opening exploration into the science of why these strikes happen and the simple, life-saving steps you can take at home.
Whether you’re a lifelong birder or a backyard nature enthusiast, this one-hour session (plus Q&A) will equip you with the tools to make your windows bird-safe.
