Your Donations help Lapham Peak continue to be one of the best Parks in Wisconsin!

We have a number of ways that you can donate to the Friends of Lapham Peak Unit, to help us help the DNR and the Park continue to provide year-round services here at Lapham Peak. The "Friends of Lapham Peak Unit" is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so your donations can be considered for tax deductible purposes.

Cash/Check/Money Order Donations:

Tax Deductible donations of Cash, Checks, or Money Orders should be mailed or dropped off at the Park Office. When you donate this way, 100% of your gift goes to your intended donation! (We offer online/credit card giving as well but 3% of those donations go to the credit card processing fees). Please make checks payable to: “Friends of Lapham Peak” and in the memo, specify any specific fund that you want your gift to go to:

Stock Donations:

If you invest in stocks or mutual funds, you might want to consider donating securities to the Friends of Lapham Peak. These types of donations to non-profit charitable organizations can avoid capital gains tax while enabling you to deduct 100% of the current value of the investment on your income taxes (talk with your tax advisor for details). Contact John Hillmer, President of the Friends of Lapham Peak, 414-333-6337, for information on how to make this donation (he will put you in contact with our Treasurer).

Online Giving:

Donate online using our convenient secure online option! Your online donation will be securely processed by PayPal under their agreement for handling donations to non-profit organizations. You do not need a PayPal Account to use this option (to use your credit card, select the credit card option when payment is requested for the donation).

Butterfly Garden Bricks and Walkway:

We have Bricks for Sale for our Butterfly Garden Walkway. These bricks are a great gift for any occasion and make wonderful memorials as well. See our Memorials page for more information)!

Our Butterfly Garden would also appreciate your donations as we work to protect the plantings, improve our watering solutions, and make this an even more special place for people to visit while they watch the butterflies that flourish here!
