FIREWOOD available for a DONATION
This Firewood is harvested and split, and then aged (dried) for a year or more, by Lapham Peak volunteers
Each “cubby hole” in the racks is a “generous bundle”
Suggested donation is $7 per bundle but any amount will be greatly appreciated
100% of your donations will help fund the routine burning of Lapham Peak Prairies & Woodlands to promote new growth while reducing invasive species and minimizing the need for herbicides
Wood racks are located at: Evergreen, Homestead Hollow, the Mike Fort Shelter, the Backpack Campsite on the Ice Age Trail, and inside the Evergreen & Trecker lodges. If you want to load a car or truck, there is a rack next to the Evergreen building that will make that easy to do. We also offer hollow campfire (stove) logs for a donation, contact John: JHillmer@gmail.com 414-333-6337
Donate Online (we accept charge & debit cards) using our secure credit card processor, PayPal (you do not need to have a PayPal account to use this).
Or, if you prefer to donate cash or a check, the Campside, Evergreen, Mike Fort, and each lodge has envelopes for cash donations, and a locked box at each of those locations for the envelopes (or you may drop them off at the office).
If you'd rather mail a check, mark the memo "Firewood":
