The Hausmann Nature Center (HNC) is a dual purpose facility, providing Nature Center education programs and informational displays 2 weekends per months, and is then also available for rent on the other 2 weekends each month.
A. As a rental facility, this is a beautiful small conference center get-away location with spectatular views year round, a small wedding venue, or business meeting location, or mid week this would be a great place to host a school group. Call the Park Office for more information and to discuss options and costs: 262-646-3025
B. On the weekends that are reserved for the Nature Center to be open to the public, we will have:
- Nature Center informational Exhibits and
- Children's Interactive Area
- Scheduled programs
Our 2024 schedule for the Nature Center to be open:
- April 20/21/22 (Earth Day) and 27/28
- May 18/19 and 25/26/27 (Memorial Day)
- June 15/16 and 22/23
- July 13/14 and 20/21
- August 10/11 and 17/18 and 31
- September 1/2 (Labor Day) and 7/8
- October 12/13 and 19/20

Hausmann Nature Center volunteer opportunities available two weekends a month from April through the end of October.
Volunteer as little or as much as you like...one shift or many! Shifts are available morning or afternoon from 10:00 am-1:00 pm and 1:00-4:00 pm, Saturdays & Sundays.
