2026 Candlelight Hike & Ski
Saturday, January 31st
It was a beautiful evening at Lapham Peak, not too cold, and we estimated that over 750 people attended. We had 2 trails, and some people did both. Both trails were lit with luminaries.
- One trail on snow went up the Purple Trail (up Asthma Hill) and then looped back down by the Butterfly Garden using Pileated Path (the return trail portion of the Purple Trail to Homestead Hollow)
- The other trail followed the accessible Pine Grove Path out and around and then back.
Treats were provided, and over $700 in donations were received, thank you!! Park/Friends of Lapham Peak Merchandise was available for purchase too (if you want to see the options, these items and more are always available for sale in the front office).
