About Fright Hike
Oct 25 & 26, the 25th Annual Fright Hike at Lapham Peak State Park
Each Halloween season, for two nights, the beautiful, moonlit, paths of Lapham Peak are riddled with ghosts and goblins. Brought to you by the Friends of Lapham Peak, Fright Hike is a mile long walk through the dark forest with scary scenes performed by local organizations. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Lapham Peak's Projects that directly support Lapham Peak!
Fright Hike is intended to be a fun but scary experience and is not recommended for very young children. Parents, use your own discretion when bringing younger children.
Approximately 4,000 hikers attend every year.
Location
The hikes starts and end at the Evergreen Parking lot at Lapham Peak.
The Hike
About 1 mile of rolling forest trails that takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. The trails wind through the woods over roots, mulch, and rocks; strollers and wheelchairs are not recommended.
No Pets
With large crowds and horses at this event, for the safety of cast members and other guests, we cannot permit pets at Fright Hike.
