Olympic Silver Medalist Gus Schumacher Returns to Lapham Peak on June 30
Delafield, Wis. — The Lapham Peak Ski Club is thrilled to welcome back Olympic silver medalist Gus Schumacher to Lapham Peak on Tuesday, June 30, for a special afternoon and evening with the local skiing community.
Fresh off an outstanding season capped by a silver medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Schumacher will spend time with skiers and fans through a rollerski clinic and a casual meet-and-greet event.
"We are incredibly fortunate to have Gus return to Lapham Peak," said Kate Barbour, President of Lapham Peak Ski Club. "His accomplishments on the international stage are inspiring, but just as impressive is his willingness to connect with skiers of all ages and abilities."
Rollerski Clinic with Gus Schumacher
Tuesday, June 30
3:30–5:00 p.m.
Homestead Hollow Parking Lot
Skiers will have the opportunity to receive instruction and training tips directly from one of the world's top Nordic athletes during this limited-capacity rollerski clinic geared towards experienced rollerskiers.
- $75 for members
- $100 for non-members
Registration is extremely limited and expected to fill quickly.
Payment for the clinic is made directly to Gus Schumacher. Payment instructions will be included in the registration confirmation email.

- The clinic will be held rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, the clinic will move indoors.

Meet and Greet with Gus Schumacher

Lapham Lodge
Following the clinic, community members are invited to meet Gus in a relaxed setting at Lapham Lodge. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, take photos, collect autographs, and enjoy light refreshments.
- $20 for members (Family $40)
- $25 for non-members (Family $50)
Cash only paid at the door. Net proceeds from this event go directly to Gus to support his international competition.
